After graduating high school 3 years ago, I quit running because I lost interest, but would still be active by lifting weights occasionally and playing basketball. However, after the pandemic started I almost completely stopped getting in any sort of physical activity. I have been trying to get back into running recently, but I noticed I am really out of shape. I've run 20-30 minutes every day for the past 1.5 weeks but can only run at a pace slightly faster than 12min/mi. I am interested in training for the 5k again, but am wondering what would be the best course of action to increase mileage, and introduce workouts.
My Pr's were: 800-2:07, 1600-5:01, 5k-19:01
