Concerning your tempo yes you should slow a little bit. But I guess the main question is : what is the pace of your easy daily runs? Because if Tinman calculator gives you 7:20 tempo pace, it means you should not running faster than around 9 min pace for your daily easy run (as long as you are push...

Thanks you all for your advice but I still have a question. How do I know if I'm training too hard? When I run with the faster group at practice it often feels easy, and I don't feel as if I'm too hard. Struggling Xc Runner

It's been a month into the xc season and i'm really struggling. I started off the season 3rd on my team but i'm now struggling to maintain top 10. Worst of all is that I can keep up with some of the faster runners without straining too hard in practice but they blow me out at meets.Any tips?
