2014 USA Masters 5 km Cross Country Championships

A bit of a delayed congrats to Ohio's own Fred Kieser (sorry Fred) for winning the 2014 USA Masters 5 km Cross Country Championships AG (40-44) on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Northview Church - Carmel, Indiana. Fred ran a 16.02 to take the win for Team Ohio by a 14 second margin.
Way to go Fred!!

Congrats to Fred. I was supposed to run for Team Ohio but work and personal commitments didn't allow it this year.

I would also be running for Team Ohio if my knee hadn't failed for the 4th time now. We all used to run together back in the Team Good River days. Many, many good memories!
I still plan to continue running, even after my full knee replacement. :)
